Drug Rehab Program

Choosing a Drug Rehab Program

For an addict, admitting there is a problem and asking for or seeking help is difficult enough. Searching for a drug rehab program shouldn’t be frustrating, but often times it is. There are so many different types of drug rehab programs available today and finding one that is the right fit for your needs can be very frustrating. Don’t give up hope; we are here to help you find the right treatment for your needs.

We are a rehab referral service that works with various facilities across the country. By answering some questions we can help you find the drug rehab program that best suits your needs and ultimately will provide you with the results you are looking for. It is mandatory that a doctor diagnose you with an addiction prior to treatment in order to assist us in determining the right treatment for you.

Not everyone that has a drug or alcohol addiction will need to be admitted to an inpatient treatment facility. Some people may need only group or individual outpatient therapy. Some outpatient therapy centers offer intensive treatment while others may meet less frequently. Group therapy is a good way to tell your story and get feedback from people who know what you are going through and gain feedback as to what worked for them. For people who do not like the idea of sharing their story with people they do not know, there is individual therapy available as an outpatient. The goal is to work with you and your current lifestyle to provide treatment that will work for you.

Inpatient drug rehab programs generally require you to stay for a period of at least one month. Some programs are longer. The average length of stay in an inpatient facility is 53 days. These programs offer detox and intensive therapy. Once discharged from the program there will be outpatient therapy to continue working on identifying triggers to your use and redirection to change the behaviors. Not everyone that enters an inpatient treatment program will succeed. In 2005 SAMHSA reported 24% of patients who entered inpatient treatment ended up dropping out before they were finished with the program. Another 24% did not finish because of incarceration or other reasons. Only 44% of patients completed inpatient treatment in 2005 and it is not known how many of these patients maintained sobriety, or for how long.

The cost associated with any type of drug rehab program varies widely, depending on state, type of treatment, length of the program and insurance. If cost is an issue, our company will assist you in finding not only the right treatment, but the right treatment at the right cost.
